Sport Vitamin and Minerals consumption

Hi all, I have a question regarding the amount of minerals and vitamins to be consumed. Does the amount needed to consume to meet daily requirement (or my requirement as weightlifter for that matter) goes up as the amount of calories goes up or it has no bearing on amount of calories consumed? This is in term of daily requirement given for all minerals and vitamins on USDA website.
 
the US RDA of vitamins and minerals is the recommended minimum to keep an average adult from having a deficiency.

the average american is not that active, nor 'training'. so yes, your intake needs to be increased in general.
 
its the recommended. if you take a multivitamin, you're good.

the rda for vitamin c is like 100mg or less. who do you know that takes that little?
