Weight-Loss Vitamin A, How much is too much.

Anyhow, I heard more than 2,500iu from a multi of vitamin A from retinol can cause a decrease in bone mass and hair loss.

(the real number is 5,000iu, but you have to assume you get some retinol from food.)



Anyways, I like how AST Multi Pro 32x looks, but you take it twice a day meaning 20,000IU of vitamin A. Granted some of that is Beta Carotene which your body converts to Vit A only if you need it, and therefore is harmless.

It reads

"Vitamin A(as Beta Carotene) &(as Acetate, Incl) 10,000IU 200%" - AST Multi Pro 32X

What should I take from this? Too much A?
 
Alternately, simply eating varied healthy food will get you what you need, perhaps except vitamin D depending on where you live.
