I have the same problem with my VItamaster treadmill and did a lot of research to get it repaired. The only place that has the parts is this place in TN - you need to talk to Steve Drummons and his phone # is 888-362-1105 ext 202. Be prepared, I was quoted a price of $149.95 plus shipping.
