Very impatient

I started my weight loss journey 2 and half weeks ago and I’m super motivated. I’m struggling with being impatient. I want to have a nice body now. I’m afraid I’m going to get discouraged and just stop trying. Any advice?

set your goal and be strong to acheive it...split your goals in simpler manner...

What's your goal? I think the best option is to set a rational deadline when you want to achieve your goals...and then take into parts and create a schedule. The only way to long-term success is to enjoy the journey. Celebrate little achievements. :)

Well loosing weight will take some time and that is something that you just have to understand especially if you are trying to lose a lot of weight but depending on how or what your doing to lose the weight you may actually be making less progress then you could be making. If you could clarify what your doing to lose weight, how much you want to lose or if your following a special weight loss program then i could give you some extra advice on how to improve your weight loss journey :)

I currently weigh 206 lbs. this is the biggest I have ever weighed. 3 babies back to back didn’t help. My goal is to be 145lbs in 6 months. I cut soda and sugary snacks from my diet. I also cut my calories back to 1,500 a day. I have a treadmill I use for 30mins in the morning and evening. Plus some leg and arm exercises. I’m new at this so not really sure if my goals are realistic.

Your goals are realistic but it totally depends your commitment level to it. In terms of motivation and being impatient, it is great to have a big goal and knowing that will keep you on track. The problem is sometimes it will feel so far away and you will end up losing sight of this at times. I would highly recommend you focus on setting small progress goals. These can be weekly and monthly. If you see progress on a continual basis you will ultimately see yourself winning all the time and this will mean you are much more likely to succeed. Unfortunately patience is something you will need as the body will not want to change overnight especially if you want to do it in a healthy way. But yeah I would highly recommend you doing progress goals!

Thanks for the advice. It makes total sense. Today I was feeling discouraged. I logged in here and read this and it made me feel better. Thank you.
