Very cool and uplifting

Hi,

So something awesome has happened that was totally unexpected.
Background....have had bronchitis for 2 weeks, total nightmare, on antibiotics, bronchodilators, codeine, the works.
So instead of sticking to my 3 days a week running/weight lifting, and the other 3 days power yoga, I cut out cardio because I just couldnt' breathe and kept hacking up green nasties.
So for the past 2 weeks, only been doing weights and yoga 6 days per week.
Lo and behold, I've lost 2kg and my muscles are looking much more defined and I have been performing so well in my yoga.
I was so scared that the lack of cardio would make me pile on the pounds, but actually, the opposite has happened.
Isnt' this cool?????
I reckon this may also have something to do with the fact that due to all the medication, I've had no alcohol whatsoever . (normally I get drunk once a week as a reward to myself, which normally involves 5 drinks, usually cocktails).
And...I've been eating more than usual, I've really upped my protein and carbs.
This is madness, no? But very cool. I'm happy and thought it might be nice to let everyone know that if something bad happens, like illness, and you need to knock out intense activities such as running, then this is not the end of the world.....

i know that as you gain muscle, your metabolism tends to speed up, so keep at it!

i'll keep my fingers crossed that this helps you heal faster too!
