Very Confused

A little history.
I started my weight loss May 8 between May 8th and July 19 I went from 180 to 155. Eating 1000-1200 Cals a day burning 3000-3500 eating lean cuisines, fruits and veggies.

The problem
Around July 22 I started going back up on July 23 I weighed 156 and then yesterday 157 at first I didn't care because so many things make my weight go up and down in a day or two. but this morning I'm about 158. My husband said I could be building muscle but 3 lbs in 4 days is a lot.


Question
any ideas what is going on?

I know that three pounds of weight loss is always exciting, but three pounds of weight gain (that quickly) is probably just water. I'm assuming you're weighing yourself at the same time and same conditions every day. Even when I do this, my weight fluctuates +/- 5 pounds. I don't think it's something to stress about as long as every other week, the scale tips in your favor. Also, since I have been lifting really heavy and hard this summer, pictures have been a more accurate gauge of my weight loss. I still say water retention. Did you happen to eat super salty Lean Cuisines the past couple days?
 
We thought it might be salt too because I can't think of anything else espically when I run 1-2 miles plus the gym and the pool it can't be fat. I weight my self every day and every other days sometime just for fun but I only count the weekly weigh in on saturdays. I don't remember the soduim MG of the mac n cheese lean cuisine but the Chicken enchilada is 560mg I only eat one or two a day. if I don't have that for lunch its tuna or ham-turkey on wheat only meat bread and lettuce
 
Try not adding so much salt to your foods. Most foods we eat has enough salt in them already. Then there are some who needs more salt!

But for me salt balance Or No salt (sodium-Free Salt) works for me. And drink lots of water! When I walk two miles in the evening I take two bottles of water with me. I have a Soft Cooler Polar Pack (big enough for one bottle of water), This keeps my second bottle of water cold until I get ready to drink it. You could put a belt through the loop at the top if you are running. This came with a bottle, but I use bottle water with it. :seeya:

Do those have a high salt content? I'd just suggest drinking lots of water. Flush your system and see what happens by the official weigh day.
 
Hmm interesting. Have you tried taking your measurements so that you can see if there is a specific area it is affecting?

my tape measure is still packed and I have no idea what box. My friend is giving me one I asked for it today. I hope things turn around by saturday. I also just realized its only 2 days before my period is suppose to start so maybe that has something to do with it???? I really hope so. Thanks for all the help.
 
Oh yeah I'm sure it's your period. I always gain 5+ lbs right before my period, and then two days after it starts I go back to pretty much normal. Then a few days after it ends, if I have kept up with eating right and exercise, I weigh less than when I started!
