Sport Veggies work strangely

I LOVE vegetables. I mean LOVE them. I'm pretty sure I could eat only veggies for the rest of my life and be ok...at least content :) BUT there is a problem. Specifically lately when I eat veggies I get very...hmmm how shall we say...plugged up. Now veggies are supposed to CLEAN YOU OUT so whats the deal? I drink about 60-70oz of water a day and have a very clean diet. I exercise daily and see no reason for this issue but its making me want to avoid them because I feel so bloaty and fatso all the time. On the average when I have a meal with veggies I'll have 5-6oz of lean protein like chicken and 1-2c of fiberous veggies or 4-5cups of romaine if its a salad. is that just too much? I probably do the veggie thing 2 times a day right now.
