Sport Vegetables and gas

Sport Fitness
okay so i love vegetables.

for lunch today I had:

brussel sprouts (5)
carrots (.5 cup)
zucchini (.3 cup)
boiled grean beans ( 1 cup )
cauliflower ( 1 spear )
boiled broccoli (3 spears)

grilled onions (.5 small onion)

question is :

is there such thing as too many vegetables in one sitting?

did I do good? mind you this was along with 1.5 slice of grilled beef liver.

next question:

i just know tonight and tomorrow will be EXPLOSIVE and really really bad...

what can I take to get rid of the gas before it starts???

hellooooo???!!!!

Getting gas is the worst! Especially around your guy, I mean how many times can you go to the bathroom before he thinks there may be another guy in there since you're going so much! LOL

lmfao!

yes, and also the stomach cramps are the worst too. Makes me want to install a pressure release valve in my lower abdomen for emergencies.

that is a hell of a of veg in one sitting!!!!

personally, i know when im eating too much fruit and veg and can feel the windy-pops coming on.

in terms of what you're eating there's going to be nothing wrong with it, in fact its all good stuff. but try and spread it around a little, you dont need all the types of veg in one sitting; have a couple of decent portions and change them day to day.

i have/had a serious problem with the gas thing - ive found that i have to eat most my fruit and non-carby veg before i eat a meal - ie where i used to have chicken sandwich and then an apple i now have the apple half hour before the sandwich.

fruit and veg ferments in the stomach at such a speed that it'll come on before you can do anything about it. the body isnt meant to let loose so readily so your stomach is probably overloaded with the veg, i love my fruit but have to hold back or else face the consequences.

also, i drink a couple of mugs of peppermint tea a day just to help flush out the system. i know that the tea itself can cause wind but as long as you dont over do it it will reduce the fermentation somewhat.

its just typical that i cant get enough fruit and veg yet my body says stop. when i eat chocolate the body says 'more, more'.
