Sport unsure about my current diet...

Sport Fitness
Hey guys,

I've been working on loosing fat around my stomach area to get a more slim, athletic look, but I'm not sure if my diet is effecting it or not.

I'm a junior in high school, so its hard for me to spread out six meals evenly throughout the day. Sinc I'm at school every day from 7:30 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon. So at school I only eat lunch, and everyday I get fries, a sub, and chocolate milk. This is usually my first meal of the day as I never have time to get breakfast in. When I get home I usually have some sort of chicken such as Tyson chicken fingers or cereal, along with a cup of orange juice. For dinner I usually eat a tuna sandwich or some sort of meaty meal. Thats all I usually eat for the day. Sometimes I'll eat ramen noodles or some kind of soup.

All I want to know is is what I am eating is good or bad for the goal I want to acheive? I get around 1500-2000 calories a day. Is that enough or too much?

I do cardio 5 times a week. Jogging/running for 15 minutes, then jump rope for another 15 minutes. Sometimes I switch something with biking, or do HIIT. I do my cardio sessions 30 minutes a day two times a day so I get about an hour of cardio a day.

So yeah, I'm just wondering If I'm eating right or should I change my diet?

Your diet doesn't look very good at all. If you want to reach your goal you will have to do things different.. Wake up early, eat breakfast and pack your own lunch. Then you could probably eat 2-3 more meals once you get home from school. You need a serving of lean protein in each meal, and stay away from fried things & crap (fries, chicken fingers, choclate, soda, candy, etc).

I know it sounds pretty crappy, but that's exactly what I did when I was a senior and I reduced my bodyfat by 6% in a semester. Your cardio looks legit, maybe throw some weights around too (it would only help the cause).

Alright how is this:

Breakfast: Bowl of whole grain Rice Chex cereal, and a glass of water.
Lunch: Regular milk, sub which had lettuce, a slice of cheese, bologna, and ham on bread. Had an apple too.
Snack: Bologna on wheat bread. Water...
Dinner: Rigatoni w/sauce. No meatballs or parmesan cheese or anything...just the pasta and sauce, and water.

Is this an improvement? or still bad?

Its not great, where is your fruit and veg? where is your meat?

dude sort it out!

Do you do any exercise?
you can eat 3times that amount of food if you eat healthy.

5 fruit or veg
2 fist sized portions of meat
thats absolute minimum for someone that doesnt exercise.
