unreliable people

it seems that whoever im going to the gym with for whatever reason will go a few times then quit...i dont have a drivers liscense yet (long story) so i cant drive myself down there...how do i avoid this from hurting the progress ive made so far

either find a reliable way to the gym or work at home

unfortunately public transportation isnt an option...theres no gym in my area so i have to drive about 15-20 minutes to get to it and no kids from my school go to it but me and a couple of friends...and as much as i hate to say it theyre just unreliable...and i dont have enough equipment at home to work at home and still have a couple of months before i get my liscense

a couple of months isn't that bad, maybe you can invest in a medicine ball and do some medicine ball work until you can get your license back, or look into body weight stuff, just stuff to keep maintained until you can get back in the gym.

Well I mean, it's going to be hard to find someone with the exact same schedule as you and who is willing to work out as consistently as you want to, to begin with. Then they have to drive you there and back. But yea I know what you mean though, I've had a lot of workout partners bum out on me. One of my friends and I worked out only 2-3 times together when we planned to go regularly, so I told him that I was sick of his excuses and was going to quit waiting on him and just go rather than trying to meet up there at the same times.

Ifs its a 15min drive cant you just get a push bike. so maybe it will take 40mins. just use it as your warm up and CV. 40 mins there, 40min weight training, 40mins home = 2hours.

I have a mate who walked to the gym every other day, 1hours there and a massive uphill struggle on the way back.

I often walk to my gym which is 30mins away.

thats not a bad idea except for the fact that i dont have a bike...if i ever get one ill definitley start doing that...and i think i mightve found a partner that wont pussy out on me

I dont know about prices over in the US, But in the UK I could pick up a pretty good 2nd hand bike for about 25pounds.

depends on what kind of bike youre getting..at wal mart you can get them pretty cheap but the quality isnt always very good...suprisingly bikes are pretty expensive lol once i have another job i might get one

I got a bike at WalMart for like fifty bucks once, and it really didn't last very long. I later got a used one at a bike shop for 100 and it's been great so far.
