Uneven leg strain

Hi,

I'm new here and hope I'm putting this in the right place. :)

I'm also new to using an exercise bike. I've used one for about half an hour each day this week and the past couple of days I've noticed that my right leg starts to feel tired before my left leg. Also, after I was done this morning that leg feels a little strained and the left leg feels fine.

I'm going to take the weekend off to recover...hopefully it will feel 100% by Monday.

But going forward, I'm not sure if I'm using my right leg more then my left and it's getting more work, or if that leg is weaker then the other one and it needs more work to build up strength.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Probably one of these or more likely both.
You are new to the activity and the likelihood that you are doing it perfectly are slim to none. In fact the likelihood that those practiced are perfect is not high.
Being uneven could be the position you sit, the way you move your upper body, the distance away from the bike you move your knees, and various other things.
If you are human one leg will be stronger than the other, there has not been a recorded case of perfect symmetry to date and I doubt there will be.
So based on what you have said you are phsically a normal human being, and the fact you have asked for guidance when unsure more intelligent than many.

Keep the training going, and you will even out, though never completely, that would be inhuman.
Make sure you cool down and stretch sensibly at the end of each workout and the soreness will be reduced and last less time.
