Sport Undigested corn

Sport Fitness
Hi all,

Yeah, it's gross, but it makes me wonder. In my bulk diet, a bunch of peeps gave me advise to back off the protein a bit, and add in some carbs. Well, corn is calorically dense, 300 cals for 2 cups, so I have added it in. Well, I forgot that it leaves little presents everytime I use the bathroom. So what is the deal, is this going through completely undigested, i.e. I'm not even getting the energy from it? I read an article about how humans used to eat primarily vegetables thousands of years ago, but have since evolved to be more of meat eaters, so we are less capible of digesting some veggies, corn in particular. So what's the deal, do I have to eat something else? I like corn, but I don't want to eat 14 cups a week if I'm just gonna **** it out and not get any energy from it.

I think what you see is just the fibrous outer membrane, the insides are digested

OK, I hope so. I don't really want to have to inspect it any more than I already have. A couple sources I read also said the easy solution is to just chew more, but damn 2 cups of corn, 2 cups of rice, and 6 oz of chicken already takes a long ass time to eat without chewing it to shreds...

for us to be sure, you will need to count your kernel intake, number of actual kernals. then you are going to need to disect yer terd and get a count. those numbers will provide us with a ratio. you may have a serious metabolic issue, maybe even thyroid gland issue.

This is serious business. I once had a neighbor, who's ex wife had left a man, whose mother in law, had 2 children from a previous marriage that ended up with gastic strain over under digested kernal syndrom!

scary stuff bro!

Get back to us with those counts and we'll get ya fixed up! No sweat. a whole world fitness community at your service.

I'm working on the autopsy right now...haha!!

lol. Well, first off - Corn is seriously my favorite food. fresh, canned, creamed, whatever. Secondly, I have this wierd thing where I spend way too much time reading the labels of random things in grocery stores.

Hehe, I like to read labels too. I also love corn, mine says 100 cals per 2/3 cup, I have 2 cups a day, so 300 cals. Tasty.

I have never heard of someone passing the husk of the corn...whole... As Malkore said, CHEW more!

Haha - This is actually pretty funny. Worried your not getting your nutrients because your veggies are going out the same way they came in. lol

Haha, I know. I thought of it like that, and it is pretty damn funny.

I know chewing more is the easy solution, I just eat so subconsciously, so I forget to chew it all up. Anyways, my dump yesterday was a little less corn riddled.

The real question is: Have you ever gone to the bathroom and thought "When the hell did I eat corn?":)

Hahaha, only once I think. It was after a night of too much boozing, a long time back, and I guess a big bowl of corn was my drunken food for the night.
