Twists with pullies

At my gym they have a low pulley (as for rowing) and a high pulley for pull-downs, etc. Using the high pulley to do a trunk twist, trying to use mostly my trunk going slightly from hi to lo. I do both sides. I also use the low pulley and twist from low to high. Are there better ways to do this? Any risks I should be aware of? Thanks
 
just focus on your form and doing the excercise properly. any fast jerking motion CAN pull a rib. those are extremely painful and take a while to get back in place
