I've finally managed to make a diet that contains (more than) the requisite amounts of protein for muscle-building and comes in at less than two thousand calories. But I'm no expert, and it seems simplistic, so before I commit to it I want to know if it will work or not.
Each day it equals:
Two large cans of tuna (total of 800cal and 180 grams of protein).
One packet of Uncle Ben's wholegrain rice (300cal plus carbs).
2 litres of water.
Apples, fruit, etc. for snacks.
I add cucumbers and peppers are added to the tuna, too, since it takes disgusting without it.
In total it's around 1500-1600 calories and has more protein than I probably need. But will it actually help me build a respectable beach body?
