Trying to lose

I walk 40 miles a week and I don’t drink anything but water, do not eat any sugar, meat, or snacks. I am vegetarian. I am trying to lose weight. How much should I possibly lose?

Welcome to the forum

Just being vegetarian does not mean you will loose weight. What are you eating? how much of it are you eating ? What is your current weight and bodyfat % there is a lot here we don't know in order to be able to help you.

I eat a protein bar that is homemade and no sugar for breakfast. Lunch I eat spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, a 1/4 cup feta cheese and no dressing. I eat 1/4 cashews an hour later. I don’t eat after 2 o’clock. I weigh 125 and my BMI is 25. I eat the same thing every day.

Hi Short - can I ask you a question? Do you enjoy what you eat? Or are you doing this as an show of your will power as you try to lose weight... figuring you can tolerate this eating plan just while you lose the weight you need?
Because I honestly believe that if you set yourself up to eat in deprivation mode, to see food as punishment and take all the joy out of food (by eating the same thing every day, for example) that you're NOT setting yourself up for long term success.
I don't doubt your will power and that you can power through this for a while... but maybe find a way to enjoy food and make compromises so that you eat a healthy diet you enjoy, with variety, that enables you to lose the weight you want (perhaps at a slower clip) but with a much higher likelihood of keeping it off.

Whatever you do, I wish you the best of luck!!!

At 125 pounds, it doesn't sound like you would have much weight to lose... but I am not here to tell you what your goals should be. I'm wondering though, if it's more that maybe some weight training might be beneficial? If you're just wanting to be happier with your body shape or something, the number on the scale might not be as helpful for you as you might think.
