Trying to lose a little weight.

I gained some weight when my parents divorced and haven't been able to lose it - of course, the junk food hasn't helped much. I'm 5'8 and about 210 pounds, i'm looking to become about 170 pounds or so. I've tried walking 10,000 steps a day for every day last summer, but i haven't been able to keep that up due to school and lack of motivation. Just call me rad or radish.

Hi Rad & welcome to the forum. I'm sorry about your parent's divorcing. Cutting down or cutting out junk food alone would make a really big difference. Drink water, rather than sugary soft drinks. Life is much easier & more enjoyable when you feel healthy. Cheers, Cate.
