I am trying to find the right exercise program for me. I would really like to get a treadmill..but until I do, probably not for a while, I need to find in home exercises. It is too hot outside to go walking, I would usually do that. It was 109f yesterday, and even at night it does not go below 100..so I cannot go outside or else I feel tired, and sick, and dizzy its that hot. Does anyone know of any websites that have in home work outs I can do? I don't really like those aerobics tapes..I buy them, and don't use them...I don't like dancing..

Any help would be appreciated!!

If you've got a high enough ceiling, what about jump rope?
Hula Hooping?

Belly dancing isn't really dancing, it'sa good workout and it's fun...

What about yoga or pilates?
Using one ofthose workout balls with or without weights?

lol, I cannot use a hoola hoop for the life of me!!

Jump roping sounds fun! I may have to start that up. Its hard for me to find a rope I can use..I am 5'11.. Any stores you reccomend? Do stores like Big 5 sell them?

Pilates has always seemed interesting enough. I can take up small weights, but I would have to use things around the house. How much do you think a 2 liter of soda (its diet ;)) weighs?

any sporting goods store would sell a jumprope - and a lot of men use them, especially those that are into boxing (it's good for reflexes not to m ention cardio) so finding them for your height shouldn't be a problem...

Put the soda on the scale -I'd imagine it's got some weight to it :D

Hula hooping might give you good practice... toy stores sell them and they're pretty cheap - plus imagine the ab workout you'd get :)

I think I found my exercise program. I have comcast digital cable, and I was checking out On DEMAND (which is free movies, shows, etc you can watch whenever you want) and I found a fitness section. They have Pilates and yoga videos. They are always there, and I can watch them whenever I want!! They always add new ones, so I don't get bored!
