Sport Truth of Aspartame

Sport Fitness
After buying no xplode (body building supplement) and looking at the ingredients, everything seemed ok even though its patent pended. I've heard of the chemical aspartame in the past and its use as a sweetner in many food and drink products, such as diet coke, crystal lite, gum..and others. One day my sisters bf was talking about how his aunt and his cousin (which are from different blood lines) both died of cancer at a young age. So i asked did they have anyhting in common, and in fact they did. They both drank numerous diet cokes everyday for the past 5 to 10 years. I was quite skeptical how diet coke could do anything but i did notice it has aspartame in it. So i decided to do some research and the truth is quite frightening. I can desribe its backround and its 92 side effects (that occur after a long period of use) that most people misdiagnose; nausea, diarreah, dizzyness, fatigue, aches, etc.. but ill just post some credible links for you to read....if anyone in here seems to suffer from these symptoms more than the norm of society, perhaps you should check your diet for aspartame.... Im not so sure i want to take no-xplode anymore, better to stop now then to wait years to see if it has effects. Please do not comment unless you do know the below information or have read it in its entirety

Here is another site:

There hasn't been any long term studies done to prove any of this.. And as for your websites, I only made it to the 3rd one before I couldn't take anymore. Comparing Robert Shapiro to Hitler? Drawing a little facial hair on his lip? That isn't needed. Then in some of their tables they give you Aspartame in % and then formaldehyde in ppb, just to make it seem like the numbers are so much larger, which if you do the math, are not. If they're trying to convey a point, they need to do it without bias, and just give facts. And a few of the sites have links to an Anti-Milk idea, which has litte to no scientific back.. I'm not an avid diet-coke/aspartame drinker, but I'd like a longterm study, and unbias evidence before I make up my mind.

Have you heard of flouride in your tap water? That's a carcinogen, make a website. And their's tens of thousands of supposide synthetic carcinogens, maybe a sweetener is the least of your worries.

Here's an article for you:

yeah, i've read similar reports about aspartame and it reminds me that as a consumer i have a CHOICE.

I choose not to have some random chemical that we do or don't know what it does to our bodies - i mean what's wrong with Splenda - it's made from sugar and natural?

i'll tell you why - "big businesses" won't change the ingredients in their very successful products so therefore we are subjected to them in our foods.

I'd rather take a miss for now - who needs it anyway! there are plenty lovely natural foods to eat without putting this crap down one's throat.

cheers!

First of all I am new here. And I enjoy seeing everyones statements. But I think people need to be careful of the way they write these posts to be very careful and respectful to one another. This isn't Pogo.com if you know what I mean. lol. Peace to all. April

Why?

And for the record, if you think these posts are disrespectful in anyway, which are not, you haven't seen a lot of my posts.

After being on Pogo.com I was just hoping to find a place where people were a bit nicer.thats all
