My goal is 150 lbs. I now weigh 230, and I started the six week body makeover, 3-13-06. I would like to be at my goal weight in 8 months.
I am a body type A, and I plan to loose this 80 lbs with the micheal thurmond 6 week body makeover. I know It may take longer than 6 weeks and that I may not be satisfied with goal weight of 150 lbs.
To reward myself, My family, and I will vacation in florida, on the beach of my choice. Then I can show off my new body.
I Dream of going back to the ocean, every night, I can even smell it.
Its been several years since my toes wiggled in the sand, Last time I was I wore shorts and a tee' cause I was so embarassed at how I looked. God, willing and a swift kick in the behind every now and again I will be basteing in the sun soon.;) My first weigh in is on Monday the 20th wish me luck all.

hi trina just did the online questionaire for the 6 week makeover and im a type A to would like to know more about the foods to eat if you dont mind sharring as i cant afford to purchase it, in canada the price is double what it is in the states let me know if you dont mind thanks. Karrie
 
Oh I've heard about that program before. I've always wanted to try it but I can't afford it heh.

I know what you mean about the beach thing. Every year I go to the beach with my bf and his family and I always wear a tshirt and shorts over my bathing suit.
I get so embarrassed b/c I'm like the only one going into the ocean with shorts and a tshirt on lol.

Anywho....Keep at it and next time I come visit your diary.. I hope to hear about the awesome progress you've been making!
 
That is what started me on my diet/workout/new lifestyle. IT is a new lifestyle because I plan on being like this forever! We are going to Myrtle Beach in July and I want to be comfortable out there....even if I loose 25 pounds I will feel good about myself because I can think...I may still be a little heavy but at least I can say...I am 25 pounds lighter. you can do this if you put your mind to it. good luck!

Sounds like you've got an awesome plan going there. I know what you mean. I used to live in Florida and still go back to visit on the beach, but it's depressing seeing all the stick skinny girls running around in skimpy bathing suits. In no time at all i'm sure you'll be ready for that sand!:D

last night and today so far have not been so good I have Kinda broke the diet . Makes me so mad I could cry at times .
 
Don't be an all or nothing gal!
That's the way I used to be.. if I messed up even once on a diet or missed a day of exercise I would just feel so guilty and so bad that I would just quit and go back to my bad habits.

We're all going to have days when we don't do so well. You're gonna have days when you eat the things that aren't too great for you or days when you don't exercise.
The thing to do is just not let that get to you though. Realize that you're only human. You're gonna cheat every once in a while and that's OK :) You just gotta keep at your healthier lifestyle and don't let those slipups make you feel like you should just give up.

You can do it!!!! WOO!!! :D
 
Hi Trina! Just wanted to welcome you to the forum! I was just watching the infomercial to the 6 week body make over the other night. It sounded very interesting, esp. about the different body types. I look forward to reading your journal entries and see how you like the program. They dont go in to much specifics, so it will be great to see what you think and learn more about the program. Keep us updated and good luck reaching your weight loss goals....you have found a great place for motivation and support! :)
