Trimming triceps while working out at home.

Can anyone tell me an effective way to work my triceps and trim them? I am following a low-fat diet(and is very effective, so I don't need nutrition tips at the moment, thanks), and workout 5-6 times/week, 45-60mins aerobic/jogging/stationary bicycle and 30 mins weights(dumbells), push-ups and abs workout, alternating muscle groups each day. I have been dieting for over 1 year already and started weight training a month ago, and I know it takes time to see astonishing results, but I would like to boost my triceps' improvement, as now they look too fluffy :D

dips are always good for tri's, also kickbacks.

One of the classic mistakes many make when weight training to loose fat or "tone" is they don't work hard enough at the weights. The goal is to produce additional muscle mass which burns more calories and looks more firm and shaply than fat. Many individuals pick a weight that they can comfortably do 12 reps or whatever their target rep range is and stick wiht it for months or years. Another name for weight training is progressive resistance exercise. This means to improve you must increase the resistance over time. You must constantly overload the muscle by doing more weight, more reps or taking shorter rests between sets to see improvement. You almost certainly won't get muscular or muscle bound unless you dedicate many hours a day to working out, coupled with use of performance enhancing supplements, so don't worry about that. A reasonable 40-60 minute workout, done with adequate intensity, 4-6 days per week, should result in a continuous gradual improvement for life.

Dips are exellent for the tris. They also hit the chest too. I also find the skull press to be very effective. Also a tricep extention with a rope. Pull apart on the ends of the rope at the end of the extension. Do these things, and a gaurentee you, you won't be able to lift your arms above your head the next day. It's beautiful pain.
