Treadmill

Hey everyone. I'd like to invest in a nice treadmill. What do you think is the least I could spend and still get a good one? It doesn't have to have a whole bunch of gadgets on it. I just want it to be one that will last awhile. Any suggestions?

Treadmill Review

You should look to spend at least $1000.00 on a new treadmill. Make sure you choose one with a good warranty. If your weight is above 200 pounds, you should look to invest more money especially is you plan on running.

A good warranty is 10 years on the motor (2.5 HP), lifetime on the frame, 5 years on the belt, deck, and rollers, 3 years on electronics/parts, and 1 year service. A treadmill of this caliber will run you around $1499.00.

You can either save up and buy a good quality one ( you get what you pay for), or buy 2-3 treadmills over 10 years.

One of the treadmills I highlight in my book, Home Gym Shopping Secrets, is the Smooth 5.15p (est. $999). I call this a treadmill a "best buy."
