Treadclimber?

Does anyone have a treadclimber or have used one? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Good or bad. I am thinking of purchasing one, but they are so expensive. Should I just get a treadmill?

I too can't afford one right now but I have had my mind set on this ever since it came out, this is the best cardio system for me becuase my joints ache when I run or do too much walking. I tried this machine briefly and I do like the "walking on sand" feel, no aches in the joints and also that it monitors you heart rate making it safe for you to know your limits, I guess I will have to get one that's used but I have never seen not even 1 go up for sale, oh well, I'll play the Lotto tonight. I would also like to get an actual user's opinions on this machine too.

Mike,
You can finance through the company, and the TC1000 (or whatever it is called) is only about $25 a month. That is what we are going to do if we get one. We were just wanting to make sure it was worth it before commiting to paying for a piece of exercise equipment for so long.

I guess no one else has tried this or has any thoughts on it?

It looks like a good workout but i am concerned with the narrow looking treads your feet will be hitting (or missing :-( )

I don't see this as a problem at all becuse when you are on the treadclimber you will be in a "running lane", so to speak so i can't see how this could happen but to please your mind, the best thing is to try out the machine before purchasing, you could either go to a Sporting Goods store or to a gym that may have one.
