Trampoline instead of running in winter?

Hello!
Soon the work/academic year will start and I am a bit worried about losing my workout routine as it means I will have way less time and the weather is not going to help (soon will be very cold and rainy).
So I am thinking of alternatives to my daily runs. I have been thinking of joining the gym and start lifting weights. Since I will be working every evening and have long days working on finishing my degree, I think it would kill me to go to lift weight every single day. I have read about some small trampolines that you can purchaise for relative cheap pricess and jumping on it could substitute running.
What do you think about it? Do you have experience with indoor trampoline? Would you recomment it instead of running during winter?

Hello.

As far as I know, you shouldn't try doing strength training every day, muscles need some time to rest.

I wouldn't know if the trampoline would be as effective as running, but you could also try jumping rope. However, I guess the trampoline would put less stress on the knees.

As an alternative, you can always try looking on Youtube for workout routines, there are thousands.

I hope this helps. :)

Thank you for the reply!
I did not think about the rope, sounds even better (and cheaper) than the trampoline. I think I will go for it. i will also look for workout routines on youtube.

Your post was very helpful!

First off, 115 is skinny already. Depending on where these 5 lbs are stored, most probably wont even notice.

However - you dont need a diet: just be smart.

Eat healthy, well balanced, never skip meals, dont snack unless you are hungry (needing food and wanting food are different, cravings does not mean hunger)

Drink plenty of water, it helps with hunger along with other things
