Sport Totally Confused...

Sport Fitness
Nutrition has never been my strong point! Counting caloies, working percentages, separating portions just leaves me confused more than anything. Is there anybody out there who manages to eat suitably without all of these things? I'm trying to bulk now and feel me diet is letting me down, any advice on how I can eat sensibly without complication?

Thanks,
Niall

unfortunately, if you don't know how many calories you're eating...then your diet is pure guesswork, and that will hinder your results.

Its not that hard to weigh/measure food and track it in fitday.com
eventually you'll be able to accurately estimate serving sizes by sight alone, and as long as you eat the same kinds of things day in, day out, its easy to know roughly where you are.

pro athletes usually have a nutritionist telling them what to eat, and how much, so they at least don't have to track anything, just follow the menu.

I agree with Malkore here. calories are very important to track and nutrition knowledge is a must if you are serious and want to see results.

The good thing is, if you just spend a little time learning about these things, youll be able to just look at a peice of food and accurately guess its macro makeup, calories, etc. It's just like anything, the more you do it, the more natural it will become.

Once you weight what you eat for a while, there will be apoint where you can do most of everything by eye. I suggest you def calc your kcals.

How are you going to know what is or isn't working for you if you don't know what your taking in?
