"Total Gym"

Did a search but found wayyyyy too much to go through with the words total and gym, so thought Id just start a new thread. Anyone ever happen to use that "Total Gym" that Chuck Norris advertises late nights on tv? (Yeah I know, late night infomercial = death to me! LOL).

Experience with Total Gym

I too got captured by a late night infomercial for this device. I was stuck in a motel in a very quiet town and coulnd't sleep. That was over 6 years ago. Since that time I have used my Total Gym on and off depending on my level of commitment. I have found it to be a very good approach to getting a varied exercise routine that is both safe and effective. When I recently had to visit a physical therapist for a shoulder injury, the therapist reviewed the exercises described in the Total Gym manual. He pointed out the exact routines I should use and said he uses the same exercises for his patients on the Total Gym in his clinic. He said he likes the machine because it's difficult to hurt yourself on the machine if you follow instructions. I just recovered from heart surgery and am using the Total Gym, combined with a walking routine, to regain my fitness. Hope this helps.

Try this one, it is much cheaper and just as good. In fact I think it is sturdier than the Total gym. I own one and love it.
