Sport Too much?

Sport Fitness
I'm trying to figure out a good amount of food for me. This is a pretty typical day. I run about 50 miles a week with a few weight workouts and some cross training. I'm 18 yrs. old, 5'5'' and 112lb. I had been eating around 2000 calories, but some people seemed to think this was too low (although I was not losing weight) This is about 2500 calories. Is this too much, not enough or look alright? I like to track my calories, but am not sure how much I should be aiming for. Any advice to improve my diet?
B- oatmeal with milk and honey, lots of melon
5 miles super easy, 45 min. on elliptical
S- banana, chewy granola bar, package plain oatmeal, apple
L- orange, turkey sandwhich, huge pear, maple syrup oatmeal
S-apple, small yogurt, 1/2c. Kashi go lean crunch
S- small banana, small bagel with hummus, sprouts and tomato
D- salad with chicken, cedar lane pizza wrap, z-bar
S- 1/2c. oatmeal with milk and honey, big bowl of melon and strawberries

well, what are your goals? you seem skinny to me...trying to bulk up some muscle?

a quick glance at your diet...you need to increase protein. you have all the carbs in the world needed for your daily activities, but no where near enough protein to build up muscle tissue. eat at least 120g of protein a day. that's just 6 meals, 20g a meal. 20g of protein is like a 1/4lb hamburger patty...a piece of lean steak/chicken/fish the size of a deck of playing cards is really close to 20g of protein.

i'd also try to lose a few of the granola bars, and replace with a vegetable.

no, I am a distance runner so I am not trying to bulk up. I want to maintain my weight. Should I still eat that much protein? Is that a good amount of calories for me? Thanks for your help

if you are maintaining your present weight, stay at your current calorie intake.

I would still up your protein a little bit and lose a couple of the processed carbs. even just one scoop of whey as a shake would be beneficial.
