Too much weight too fast?

Hi,

After having my children I weighed approx. 165. I have not tried to lose weight, I do not excercise and yet I found last week that I only weighed in at 154. I just weighted myself again this morning and found that in less than a week I went from 154 to 147. Since I have not excercised, changed the way I eat or dieted in any way I'm wondering if this excessive and fast loss could be due to health issues?

I'm unfamiliar with health issues that have side effects of excessive and fast weight loss, so any info that can be offered or links to visit would be appreciated.

how recently did you give birth? are you breastfeeding? what was your weight prior to getting pregnant? any history of thyroid issues in the family?
 
All of the questions from the last poster really.

If you're eating the same as you always have been and you haven't been exercising more than you usually do, it's weird to see weight loss. Maybe you should visit your doctor to make sure everything's okay.
