Hi, first I want to say that I have made a doctor's appointment, but it's not until mid-January, so I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts for me.
I've always known that I drink a lot of water, but didn't think much of it. I've recently started using a Nalgene bottle, which holds 32 oz., so roughly half as much a a person needs in a day.
Well, I end up refilling the bottle throughout the day and usually drink 4-6 bottles a day. So, 2-3 times the amount a person needs. And I'm still thristy after this.
If I do only drink 8 glasses of water a day I feel rather dehydrated. Like I said, I have a doctor's appointment, so I'll ask then, I just wanted some opinions. Googling I've only come up with diabetes, but I was wondering if maybe it could have to do with a thyroid issue? Or maybe it's not an issue at all and I should just keep drinking my water! Any thoughts would be appreciated.
