Hi all, I just wanted to inquire about this. I eat a pretty good diet, making sure to get protein at every meal, working out very hard, and plenty happy with my results so far. Anyways, I was wondering if it is something to be concerned about if I'm consuming too much protein? I like to think I get 100-120g of protein from good food sources, and I take in 6 scoops of whey protein, spread out into 3 shakes, with 22g each, so that's another 132g. I weigh 208 pounds. So does that seem OK? What happens to protein that the body doesn't use? And I gotta ask, is my wicked bad gas a sign that I'm eating too much protein? (I had heard that before)
One thing, I'm a little clueless as to how much protein different foods contain, and I think I remember someone posting a site that had info on that. Anyone have a link?
Thanks everybody for reading!
