Too many oranges?

I've been eating like, 3 or 4 oranges a day....I know oranges probably have alot of sugar, so am I eating too many ya think?

I'd say it's better than chocolate bars. I'd watch out for vitamin C overdose. My daughter had an allergic reaction from too many christmas oranges one time; doc said that can happen with too much vit. C. :)

If it was "too much sugar" it wouldn't be from the oranges; a large orange is only around 100 calories. You are more likely to suffer from a case of the runs if you overeat on them, but oranges are really good for you.
Fruit in general is difficult to eat too much of, but it is always possible. In my non-professional opinion, you're more likely to get bored of them.

Ok, well thanks everyone for the advice :)

I doubt 4 oranges will cause a vit. c overdose...but now I can eat and enjoy :)

It is possible to OD on Vitamin C.

google it if you don't believe us.

Fitday says that 1 large orange provides 163.15% of your RDA, doing the math 4 oranges would be 652.59% of your RDA.

Now, while I'm sure that you didn't OD in one day...a consistent daily intake of vitamin c over the RDA could lead to an OD

It is possible however it would take more oranges than that a day to do it. Oranges are actually a minimal Vitamin C source. You can get twice as much from peppers in general.

Regardless of that you taking in fruit daily is fine, but you should be taking in a better variety of fruit and make sure that you are taking in just as much fibrous veggies as well.

It could maybe irritate your bladder. I have that problem with citrus.
