Hi all, I've heard of the Tony Ferguson "Milkshake" diet- I'm not sure if it is in available overseas (Im in Australia:p ) but I would appreciate any testimonies or problems people have had with this diet. I've sen the web site, and It doesnt seem too hard- I'm looking into a kick-start to lose a little and inspire me to keep going. I've done Weight Watchers- didnt help me very much, I would prefer Jenni:cool: Craig or the Tony Ferguson Program- any tips?
Thanks!:D

PS- An estimate of cost per week would help too! Gosh its so darn expensive, but well worth it!

Hello

I did jenny craig a few years ago and really didn't like the food. i also tried lite and easy and was better but got sick of the food, I haven't tried tony ferguson but at least it's cheaper and my friend says it's really good, and is getting results from it, I am currently doing the dr cohens eating plan and it is the best diet i have ever been on. very strict but gets results fast.

I'm doing Tony Ferguson Program now.

Hi, just from my own experience, I did Jenny Craig in 1986, and lost like 1kg in two weeks, while my friend lost 4kg. I exercised religously at that time, doing aerobics daily and walking everywhere. For the cost I was extremely dishearted and did better without it back then.

Since December 4th 2006, I have been on the Tony Ferguson Program, and I started at 117.3kg and have made it to 107.8 this morning. So another 500g and I will have lost 10kg. I'm thrilled to bits with this progress. I am not an active person any more as we have a type of muscular dystrophy in our family (mums side) and as the years go by, certain muslce groups are lost bit by bit. (I consider ourselves lucky its not as bad as Duchene's MD.)

Anyway, I find the cost of this program reasonable, as its easy to go beserk on junk food etc, and the forum has loads of support and motivation. (Just a little difficult to get into sometimes).

For me, this program is my answer to losing weight gently with out any drama's. I'm looking forward to reaching goal late in the year, and wearing clothes instead of tents.
Hope this helps.

hi My mum and my sister both have sone Tony Ferguson and they both look fabulous I think my sister lost about 20kg ans my mum lost 15kg. They said the milkshakes aren't a problem because theyare quick and easy to have and then for dinner you get to have as much veg as you want and a portion of meat. Go for it if it sounds like its for you!!

Thankyou! As a younger person (18 soon!) I have always been overweight, and looking at my graduation photos, I look strangely like a hippo squeezed into a dress (the first dress I have ever worn!) Grad was hard for me, trying to pick a dress I wouldnt look too bad in, I found Big City Chic and Love their clothes! A little expensive, but great for more formal occaisons.I picked a nice green and brown dress with a brown camisole over the top (I hate my arms- my body weight is largely around my belly and my arms/thighs which I hate and am doing something about! as of now!
Lost .3 last week (wasnt a great week last week, but anything lost is something good!) and have tried really hard this week (says she in front of the computer!) by drinking lots of water, getting more active, and am having banana smoothies or fruit smoothies for breakfast, either a salad sandwich or wholemeal pasta with tomato paste as sauce, or even sushi- I LOVE SUSHI! The problem is, I often eat a little too much sushi... there is such thing as eating too much of a good thing!
Anyhow, thankyou so much for the testimonials- I will take them into account and make my decision soon. Thanks!

I have started on Jenny Craig and I LOVE the food. It costs me about $120 per week. It's good because I no longer buy my breakfast/lunch and other snacks and it's super-convenient for my lifestyle.

I'm in Aust too, Adelaide infact, I am currently doing the Alpha Slim diet, its a shake diet etc, and so far i have lost 3.9kgs in 1 week, its a good diet if you stick too it, you can find it at Chem Mart here in AUS i think.

Tony Ferguson would probably run much along the same lines shake shake tea, etc, so i would say yeah probably the way too go,

HOWEVER, i am only 1.5 weeks in and i am already sick of the shakes. be aware of the fact that you can get sick of the shakes very quickly.
