Toning up!

Hey guys,
I've been looking around the thread a lot and there is a lot of helpful advice going around - hence why I'm here, for some help :).

I am an 18 year old male , I am average build and around 5"7. I used to play a lot of soccer and atheltics and recently had an injury which has stopped me from playing competitive sport. Because my lack of exercise my body is not in such great shape - i am looking to tone up (my arms, abs, chest etc).

Could someone please point me in the right direction as to what i could do to tone up? I'm thinking of going for frequent runs and i have a heavy bag at home and some kettlebells (12kg and 16kg)

I know that is a lot to ask but it would be great if someone could help out.
