toning on arms

ive been doing weights for a couple months now, bench press and doing exercises with dumbbells and the barbell and are quite pleased with the results as i have grown in size, however i havent really toned my arms well

i heard that just doing more reps on lower weights will tone you more, but i also heard that toning is dependant on your diet and whether you eat healthily etc..

but yeh as the title suggests i just wanna tone my arms, they arent flabby at all really just kind of undefined

any suggestions? thanks :)
