So, I was reading that Tom Brady got fined like $7500 for not having his chin strap on correctly. People are so funny. There were comments on there like:

(this was my favorite, I don't know why I found it so funny)

'No one here realizes that if someone got hurt because his helmet came off because he didn't fasten his chin strap, the league would potentially have to pay a bunch of money to the injured player. They are covering their own butts while adding to their coffers. Remember people, the NFL is a business...'

The last one makes sense at least lol. Anyway I just thought it was funny...
 
I dont feel sorry for him. He could wipe his @ss with $1000 bills everyday and 3 times aday, and still have plenty of money left over.
 
He could also do what the Dallas Mavericks owner did once to the IRS.

He was just a tad late on his Tax payment, and they were all over him for his
6 figure tax payment.

He payed them with all pennies.

Several truck loads arrived.

They were pissed.....


Well......

its still payment.

I guess its a little like the choice to wear a seat belt or bicycle helmet or motorcycle helmet or safety glasses for the rest of us. Should the gevernment or our employer require us to, or should it be our personal choice? And if we don't and get hurt, should the government and/or our health insurance company not have to pay for our treatment?
 
weird, you see a lot of guys not snap their chinstraps and they never get fined. Is this something specific to QBs ?
 
Well, it's a safety issue. And if it's a rule his employer has set, it should be followed.

It was people's comments about it that I thought was funny not the fact that he got fined...

Everybody knows that not wearing condoms is part of Tom Brady's larger plan - a race of super-children.

It's not a mistake, it's the beginning of the new era.

LOL Def!! He DOES go out with some super hot women...but you know maybe when two super hot people reproduce the balance gets thrown off .;..I don't know though, that Shiloh kid looks pretty cute LOL
 
Every football ruleset from Pop Warner, NFHS, NCAA, and NFL has rules regarding the chin strap and mouth pieces (I can't be sure about the NFL on this one though), usually its a 15 yard penalty... which would hurt Tom Brady more than 7500 bucks... unless the Patriots are up by 30, which they usually are...

7500 bucks wouldn't hurt Brady much unless he had to soak up some of that 500 large that Belichek was fined... :D

Idk, for some reason I don't think that Gisele is THAT hot. I honestly think that Bridget is hotter... just my opinion =]

hmm. I disagree. They're still 6/1 and their only loss (so far) has been against the best team in the league, who by the way looks to be beating everyone else as well--although we'll see what happens when they meet the likes of Peyton Manning :11doh:

I'm not saying that they're part of the elite but they're still holding their own...then again, what do I know, I'm a girl...

They're apples and organges IMO. One is the girl next door and one is the long legged catwalker....tho I have to admit Tom Brady could use a make over, everytime they show him on the post game interview I just wanna change his hairstyle LOL...he's too young to have the Jimmy Johnson:yelrotflmao:

Honestly, I feel kinda spoiled. I was born and have lived my whole life in Boston. I've had the Red Sox and the Patriots. 2 of the best teams in their leagues. The Pats are spectacular this year, and the Red Sox are playing in the World Series here at Fenway tomorrow night =P
