Toes going Numb!

I was just wondering if anyone else had this same problem:

My toes go numb when I work out on an arc trainer or eliptical for 25-30 mins. Totally numb! This is not a new thing either. I have changed my shoes because I thought that was it, but it just wont go away. I have seen a doc about my knees and the circulation in my legs, and he said my circulation was fine. Any ideas?

are you a smoker?

I've had the same problem but I do have poor circulation, but it's been alleviated some by my weight loss. Does this happen with other cardio equipment? Or just the arc trainer/elliptical?

I have had the same problem before not sure why just occasionally it happens. I have noticed that if I wear thick socks or tie my shoes too tightly it happens more often, sounds weird I know. I recently changed shoes (Asic gel) and started using a thinner sock and haven't noticed the problem.

That still happens to me sometimes. Actually, my toes were numb the whole way through basic training and for almost a year afterwards. It's just bad circulation. The problem shouldn't happen as much as you do more cardio and lower your bf%. Also, as soon as you get out of the gym and get home, take off your shoes and socks.

Okay, all good advice. Maybe it is because I tie my shoes too tight. I will try that. Stingo, it is just those two machines. Running Man - Nope, not a smoker. Hopefully I will start noticing it happening less and less as I increase cardio like you said xtony. Thanks for the help guys!

yeah ive actually noticed two things when ever i tie my shoes too tight at the top of my foot, my toes go numb, or also if im doing the elliptical and im putting more weight on the front rather than spreading it through my whole foot...if that makes any sense?

are you cold?
