Today's little incident

today, something weird happened.
so, I was getting out of my train (exhausted) n was totally feeling like goin to the sauna (also becuz I was kinda hit by the cold).
So I did go, n everything was alright. when I started to sweat a lot n was too hot got out...until here ok...
I was undressin myself to gettin ready to shower n started to feel dizzy..I thought it wasnt anything..
when I got in the cubicle to shower geez, I was feeling like vomiting the cracker i had eaten bef4 the train n i though i was about to faint, because I was getting kinda unconscious (if that even exists). suddenly, a good thought struck my head n i turned on the water...damn i was really bout to fall flat on the flloor..horrible sensation n everything was just going around n around,so i turned on the hot water...big mistake dah maf! n was feeling even worse...then i dunno how i turned on the cold water tap n the feeling was leavin me n i was getting back to normal..lucky shot!....
so, obviously, my subject of thought during shower was that I could have died lol well not died but if i had fallen, I could have hit with head somewhere n as it was early no one would be there to help ..
basically, I wanna know if this has hAppened to anyone, n why? i kinda have some ideas but aint sure lol thanks for readin!


oh ps.. there have been 2 times when something similar has happened........once when I was goin through a difficult eating phase n went to shower w/o having eaten anything and when I got out I fainted or maybe I didnt but it was weird..lol I got mad scared n went to lay on my bed w an headache. One day after hadnt slept much n had studied a lot I was also feelin weird but it was nothing major.

Sounds like low blood glucose levels. This can be caused by either not enough food (obvious one) or for some people, having simple carbs on an empty stomach can cause an insulin spike, which will have the same effect. If it is not happening all the time, it's probably nothing to worry about.

hmm.. I cant eat too much before goin to the gym..actually I think I souldnt eat anything at all because when I hit the treadmil everything comes up to my mouth =/ and I dont feel hungry at all when I wake up, but I still feel this intern need to eat a cracker because I think its not correct to go to the gym n not eatin anything..

i agree with crazylegs on it being glucose levels. eat woman will ya??? even some fruit like an hour before.. eat. b4 you hurt your noodle or worse.
 
but then I cant HIIT :( or I'll puke lol and I eat very well...just not bef4 the gym lol

maf even some juice would be good and eat like an hour before just something light you got to keep your glucose levels up hun keep them stable. if you go hypoglycemic the results are not good worse case senario is seizure coma death. in that order if you don't get definitive care asap. not good babe not good. its not just puking and passing out then everything is all good again, its down right dangerous. its an emergency. thats where i come in and start treating you and get you to the hospital for observation and further care. plz plz eat something b4 and drink some juices ok. plz we love we don't want you to be really sick. ok i'm done. i'm such a mom! lol and medic!!!
 
DUDE! been there too....only mine was cause i pushed too hard. :D im crazy like that.

I was at the gym...of course, like im ever anywhere else...and it was a leg day (my fav). So i beat the crap out of myself for 2hrs and then decided it would be a good idea to do 4 sets of goodmornings before leaving....uh no, definitely not a bright idea.

But after i did the first one and barely pushed the entire set out i was "smart" enough to do another 3 sets :D (i like the pain...is that weird?). So anyways, to get to the point, after struggling to get out 10 reps @ 270lbs (it hurt like hell...but I can still say i did it), I put the olympic bar back up on the Power Rack and walked over to get a drink...or at least that's what I PLANNED on doing...i made it as far as the Preacher Curl bench (about 3' away) and then it hit me like a tonne of bricks; shortness of breath, light-headed, dizzy, loss of vision, "the works."

so I leaned my ass against a metal pole, put my hands on top of my head and thought I was gonna piss myself right then and there. Ppl asked if I was ok...I couldn't hear them of course (was like being underwater) and then I dropped to the floor...controlled drop (it was to me at least). It was creeeeepy! I couldn't stop shaking.....and then *poof* it was gone as quickly as it hit me in the first place.

as odd as it may sound, and I'm sure it would be to healthy anyways, I wish every leg day would be the same way....it may have scared the living phcuk out of me, but I've never felt my legs burn like that since (I mean every freakin muscle...it was amazing).

and before you ask, I didn't do anything differently that day than I would have any other day. I ate normal, and even slept about 9hrs the night before.

Weirdest day at the gym ever I'll tell you that for sure...
 
Damn lol I trained hard too but definitely not that much! and I think the sauna didnt ..help l.I got the trauma thing as well lol today I didnt go to the sauna becuz I was scared as hell ...tomorrow I will face tha mu**** though :)
