Sport Toast

With the winter coming up I'm going to be getting into toast more for breakfast. What are some of your suggestions for healthy and tasty spreads that can be put on toast and ones that can be eaten regularly. Also anything to make sure butter is not put on the toast is great too.

For the toast 100% sprouted grain bread is a good choice.

For the topping I like to whip up two eggs in a bowl, microwave for 1 minute, and put that on top of the toast with a sprinkle of Mrs. Dash. It's a really quick and really satisfying breakfast.

Depending on your whole diet, what you have on your toast should not matter too much. I tend to just stick to jam and honey, but I don't eat toast all that often.

depending on your goals, toast may be the worst possible breakfast item too.

remember, no amount of 'spread' is going to be enough protein for breakfast. what do you plan to have with the toast?

banana and honey? ricotta? cottage cheese? Vegemite? toast alone probably won't be enough though, it never is for me, unless there are poached eggs on it.
