I am just posting this thread to keep myself going after being on the program for so long. I have been on this program since last yr July and yes I have just lost less than 20kg and yes i still have to lose more weight  Well I have to be blame myself for all these as I have been munching on food that is not allowed and I know that its not a good thing... However from now till my last kg of weight that I have to lose, I will be 100% good, hence the starting of this thread... Ladies, keep your supporting message coming in.. I welcome all... I need all the support that is available... I am now at 74kg and I am targetting to be at 65kg so the weight that i need to order refeed is at 67kg... so i have to WORK HARD!!!

Stay focussed, think of the new slimmer you at the end.
Others on the forum have said, and I find this helpful to remember, all the food you want will still be there at the end. So is it really worth having now?!

Be strong !
Stef

Thanks Stef

Hi Stef,

Thanks a lot for that msg... :hug2: well i am telling myself that it will soon be over and I just need to endure for another short period....
How long have you been on this program??
:jump:

Congratulations on coming so far already BabyEgg!! That totally ROCKS!! Not long to go now! Do you have a planned finish time? Do you know how much you lose on average per week when you stick to the plan? If you've come this far..9kgs will be EASY!!! You can do it! :)

Hi babyegg,
I'm in a similar situation. Had a couple of months this year where I couldn't continue for various reasons. Its hard to get started again. I think you need to try to find an additional motivation to keep you on track. Its too easy once you've tasted the delights of deviations to keep going along that way. Also, its harder to see the benefits of continuing. I'm healthy now, I look great... its hard to see the difference that an extra 5 or so kg will make. (although every kg now makes such a difference - every morning, I can see a difference in the shape of my body)
For me, I have a holiday booked in July, and I want to be well and truly finished by then. So, thats my motivation to sticking to the plan. (I also started last july)
I am planning to start refeed at the end of June at the latest. But the last few days, I have been absolutely starving, so I think it may be before then. I don't actually have that much more fat to lose, so I think the goal weight from Cohens is a bit out.
So, I am meeting with my consultant on Sat to go through refeed and we'll see when she thinks I should start.
Keep going. If you set your mind to it, you'll be finished before you know it.

Babyegg,
I know how hard these last kilos have been to shed..6.4 to re feed is my ongoing chant all day. I have made extra appointments to see my consultant so hopefully the fear off going in there for her to tell me to pull my socks up will help. I also find when I "cheat" now it is soooo much harder to get back into non hunger mode. You have done so well try and re-capture the excitement of starting the program and the glee of preparing your first weeks meals:jump: .
LOL thats what I am trying to do inamongst the sighhh not more TUNA

Hello All...

Kannadew, thanks for the reply... I have actually a very slow loss as compared cos i have been deviating here and there... Usually its about 1kg-1.5kg a week if i am 100% on the program.. so i am targetting at 1kg a week from now one...:)

heavenlylamb, Thanks for sharing with me on your experience.. I have no goal to make myself continue.. and like what you say the reasons to continue seem lesser to me.. However I am planning to go for a short trip if i reach my goal so i hope that will be my motivation to keep myself going... Lets work hard to achieve this together.. my target will be end of june to lose another 5kg or so.. and than get my refeed program and wait till my target weight to start it.. I am planning to start refeed at 67kg and than end hopefully at 65kg which is 2kg more than Cohen's target.. I think I will be just great at that weight... what is the target that you are setting for yourself???

BeeG, guess my chant every now and than will be 7kg?? hehe.. i think it might just work... cos i need to be very motivated to keep this thing going on... I made an appointment with my consultant 2weeks ago but in the end the timing that i fixed the appt at, she went for lunch.. wasted trip... However I will just continue this journey and hopefully be able to inspire all ppl in this program...

:rotflmao:

Yet Another Week....

Yet another week have gone... i have amended my ticker to show 67kg which is the weight that i want to order/start refeed... and hopefully after completing refeed, i will be 65kg.. that's the goal for me right now... I am telling myself that once I reach that refeed weight, i would buy a handphone as a present for myself... so hopefully that is the motivation to keep myself going... :jump:
One big problem i have now is unable to do big business... the feeling is terrible.. i have been taking fruits and drinking lots of water but it seems useless... I am not too sure why is that so.. but certainly weight isnt moving and i believe once i can go toilet i should move my weight down a bit...
Been pretty good.. chosing the right food even when i am outside... I think the last 7kg is pretty tough and there are times when i just think to myself, I should just end this but I want to be healthier and look prettier.. :rotflmao:
Need to really move fast to lose more weight...

Babyegg- I too have 7kg to go & as you can see from my ticker I had a lot to lose. From what I have read in this Cohen's part of the forum it's the deviations that make it harder to stay motivated as they also bring on the cravings. If you start doing additional exercise now you will almost certainly become ravenous & you will have no idea whether it's because of the exercise or that you are ready for re-feed. I think Tony might have his own agenda. I have faith in the logic behind the program. After re-feed we are given advice on how to remain slim. It is up to us what we then do. I will follow the basic guidelines of the program, with additions of course, will study nutrition & exercise will then come into play. It will be something that I really enjoy like bush-walking or yoga.
Try really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You can do it. You will get there! (We may be doing re-feed at the same time. That would be fun!) Imagine being able to lead a healthy, active lifestyle & being slim. It's not far now. You're almost there! Cheers fellow Cohenite, thinking of you,
xo Cate.

Thanks Cate!!!

Hi Cate, thanks for the words of encouragement.. I do know that tony have other agenda with his post... However I have always trusted Cohen program in which I lost the amount of weight..... I am just going to work hard and the weight will definitely drop off... :rotflmao: I am really looking forward to the refeed and the gift i am getting for myself.. after the whole program.. Hence I am going to be really good and reach the goal... so we shall be going through refeed together (maybe).. Lets work hard together!!!
