To Bulk or to Cut??

Im 15, 154 lbs, 5ft 11, roughly 13% body fat. ive been pretty serious about working out since around july, and since then ive had a structured program and all that stuff, and ive been defenitely noticing results. b4 then i was an athletic guy, but as most people my age i still had the "baby" fat from being a kid; i was a chubby kid. my question is that should i start to cut now or should i bulk? my dad says that its better to cut b/c if i cut now i will be able to see more defenition in my muscles and therefore be able to see what i have to work on more, then start to bulk. when i flex, especially my biceps/triceps, they are clearly visible, yet when i don't flex them they are not noticable at all, meaning i still have lingering baby fat around my body, hence me having roughly a 13% bf. what do you guys think i should do? cut first, then start bulking? or bulk, then cut?

Bulk because you're growing anyway.

Post pictures.

I think ur dad is right

Right now i am 6'4 or 192 cm 17 years old and i weight 176ib or 80 kg.
I think for ur height 180 cm and ur age is better to cut now couse 70 kg is almost perfect weight for ur height. Keep ur weight for now work out more so u get cut body then get a little weight more max 10 kg more 0r 22 Ib( well depends ofcourse what u want to look like...). couse if start getting with now u will have to do much more work to look ur body cut, then if u cut ur body now and after that slowly gain weight. Thats at least what i think a have couple of friends i havent seen since a year now i see them and they started to work out too, and they are not happy from the results couse they gain lots of weight and dont have cut body.

P.s sorry for my bad English

any1 else have comments for this? i still havent made my decision and i really need some more feedback... thanks in advance!

Bulk, at 5'11" you should weigh around 185-205 pounds, if you are a serious weight trainer with a reasonable amount of muscle mass. At 13% body fat you are certainly NOT overweight. As you add lean body mass you will find it much easier to loose fat later. And like Lei said you are growing now and will find much easier to bulk. Besides trying to cut by limiting calories when you are not overweight and are growing could hinder your development. Eat clean, eat big and lift big.

Ok let me ask u if u think 5'11 should weight 205 Ib how much do i need to weight when i am 6'4.

p.s you dont know if he wants to have atlethic body with muscle power or to be a huge muscle guy with power i prefer the more atlethic one then to be huge look like a pig even wont be able to touch my shoulders ... .

Depends on your bone structure. That's why I said a range of 185-205 pounds for 5'11". I am 5'10" and when my body fat is less than 10% I weigh 185-195. Right now I am bulking and weigh around 215 at around 18% body fat, but i can still do 12+ pullups and 12+ handstand pushups.

i should prob post a pic later (gotta get a digital camera first lol) so you can deduct where i should go from there... im not an intrinsically big boned guy, but im not a stick either. trainers at the gym ive asked tell me my body type is more inclined towards the mezomorph, i think that means that i can store muscle easier than the other two body types, maybe im totally wrong though; i havent really ever done much weight training/extreme physical activity so far in my life besides wrestling last year, ive had a structured program since july though and have been seeing prettty good results. i dont want to be so heavy and bulky that i cant even run a couple minutes without dropping to the ground with a heart attack; i've already got shoulders broader than my waist, large chest, still have some body fat from adolescence, but i've basically built a good foundation to build off from so far. the model body i want to look most like is rocky balboa (sylvester stallone), that dude is my hero. i was thinkin that it would be easier to first cut to lose the extra body fat - not traditional cutting, mind you, im not gonna reduce my calories at all... im just gonna do more cardio and structure my program to do a little lighter weights but more sets and repetitions. thats what my dad says to do as well. any suggestions, now that i have clarified some past issues from my previous posts?
