We have all heard that it's the Triptophan in turkey that makes us so sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner (here in the U.S.)
But what is it in warm milk that is supposed to make us sleep so soundly?
And why is it warm milk, and not cold? Does something breakdown in the milk upon heating it?
Wondering if anyone knows, as I google it myself!
