Hello ,

I've been trying for years to loss weight , I'm 146 KG and I'll be honest, I've never been in diet and Gym for more than 3 weeks , I tired , I get exhausted and no results as expected. I want a way that within one month at least I can see some progress. If exercising for 30 min in treadmill in the morning , evening class for 45 min with 1800 calories diet will be any good ..

Thanks

Hi, Citizen_J, & welcome to the forum. I suggest you start a thread in the diary section of the forum, telling us more about yourself, ie, height, age etc.
You'll find the diary link here- https://weight-loss.fitness.com/forums/weight-loss-diary.9/
Here is a guide to what might help us to help you- https://weight-loss.fitness.com/threads/information-needed-when-asking-for-help.89399/
What you eat is much more important than exercise to lose weight. Exercise, like walking, helps lift our mood, among other health benefits. Tracking what you eat in one of the many apps available, like My Fitness Pal or Cronometer & putting in your info & letting the app guide you as to how many calories will have you losing half a kilo a week, for example, will bring you results. Decide on a "diet" that you can stick to forever, ie make it sustainable & long-term. We'll give you moral support & make suggestions if you want them. The time to start is now. You can do this.

Hi there, Citizen J - great to have you here on-site! :) What Cate says about
What you eat is much more important than exercise to lose weight.
is absolutely right, and so is the part about there being health and mood-lifting benefits to exercise. You ask for a guaranteed way to "see some progress" in one month - well, I think that can be guaranteed, but that doesn't mean the "progress" will be sudden magical slimness - just the beginning of losing weight, is all.
It's hard to make suggestions when you don't say what you're eating or drinking now, but if I had to make one suggestion, I'd say check out what you're drinking. Soft drinks, alcohol and fruit juices - and even coffees! - can all be real traps, piling on calories that slip down so easily that the drinker hardly notices them - but they show up as weight gain!

Hello @Citizen_J
The first of what I would do is to stop thinking that you should be on a diet or you are on a diet.
Let's start from begin.
The most important thing in losing weight is to accept the point where you are right now. Try to accept it- it is your body treat yourself as love of your life.
Your plan is good but remember about the quality of food. I mean don't eat processed food, dont eat sweets, cookies, dont drink juices, alcohol, cola, tea or coffee with sugar.
Also, I would suggest to take care of your intestines- start to eat probiotic food :)
Let me know if you have questions

Than you all for your kind replies and the information provided. I had started today with a Diet center that provide food. I'll be taking 1800 Cal/Day. Also I'll start exercising on the Gym today . Im attaching my BMI calculations if you have any more advises I'll be thankful.

Wish you all the best

Not here to give advice, but to encourage you to come back and post your progress - whether daily, or weekly... up to you. But keep in touch, and maybe find some other diaries to follow, to pick up tips from those people along the way. :)

Welcome Citizen, you have already gotten some good advice and support, Cate and Amy are amongst our best!
I want a way that within one month at least I can see some progress
The way I look at it eating right makes me feel better and better about myself, and that can happen after day 1, no need to wait a month. Do that and the weight loss and health improvements will happen, they have to.

Best of luck and I look forward to following your progress.

Don't wait till you get a stroke and end up in the hospital like me!

I would advise that you find someone that is going through it and making a pact. Start small. Go for walks. - Josh

I was just like you but after watching this it's like I completely changed my mindset of weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle. In short maybe instead of focusing on weight loss focus on healthy living and the pounds will drop regardless.
Link Removed I know this sounds so cheesy and maybe you may think its a scam but it has really changed my thinking. Every time I feel like giving up I watch one of these videos and it brings back my determination.
If you want to talk more I'm here I'm always in need of an accountability partner.
