Tired of my flat BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone, i'm new to this board :) :)

i hava a question, maybe someone can help......i'm losing weight now from eating better and cardio/weights/pilates.

My problem is i have a flat butt!!!! i want to really make the muscles that i do have in my butt as big and strong as possible.

i do pilates and squats to help tone, but i need to know if anyone has any ideas on how to really bulk up those muscles. i don't have any machines and don't belong to a health club. i do have various ankle weight and free weights though.

if anyone can help me out, i would really appreciate it, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!:) :) :) :)
 
Ah you, as I, suffer from the affliction of "Noassital" (ph:no-ass-at-all). :eek:

The best exercises for lifting and rounding he muscles of the derriere are lunges and squats (see here: for examples).
 
I must've done alot of those when I was little b/c my ass is HUGE now :p lol

Seriously... I have a duck butt. If it were any bigger you could probably rest a glass on it without it spilling. :p

I'd trade it for a flatter butt anyday!

Heh anywho... *points at the other post* that does seem to be the way to go for a shapelier bum
 
Hehe you guys crackme up.

Yes, lunges, squats and straight leg deadlifts. But, for the glute muscles to actually grow you need tomake sure you're lifting the heaviest weight you can while still maintaining proper form. And you have to eat. The body needs extra calories to form the muscles. :)

My butt was always flat......it looked like it had been chopped off in clothes LOL. Then I started weight training on my lower body by doing squats, lunges and PLYOMETRICS! It worked and now I have a J-LO booty!

So you can change it! Do your legs 3 times a week, make sure to give them a days rest between workouts. Good luck!
