Hello! I am a 23 year old woman, married with no children (unless cats count!)
I want to lose about 70 pounds, but I don't just want the number on the scale to get smaller, I want to lose FAT and I want to be HEALTHY. My husband has also been putting on weight (I don't care, I love him no matter what he looks like) and wants to lose weight too. On the first of the month we are planning to get a gym membership, but we really need to change our eating habits as well, and that's what's most difficult for us. I joined this group for advice, but most importantly SUPPORT. I've tried losing weight before and it starts off good but then I either plateau and get discouraged, or quiet honestly, I get lazy and give up. I recently downloaded an app on my phone (based on the rules I don't think I'm allowed to say which one) but it costs $30 a year, I thought if I spent real money it would motivate me to stay disciplined but sadly I am still finding myself forgetting to use it, and eating things I shouldn't. I figured if I joined a forum like this then when I feel like giving up I can get on here and have the support and push I need to keep going! I know this probably makes me sound like the laziest person in the world, but I think I really need to be honest and put myself out there in order for this to work.
