  • Dont try drinking water ice cold, room temperature or warm
  • Drink 500mls immediately after you wake up
  • Drink a certain amount each hour. eg. 400mls
  • Take water with you when you are out of the house/office.

My number one tip is...when I pick up my water bottle to have a drink, I never take less than 5 mouthfuls .... no delicate little sips!
 
I will take a bottle with me when im doing something, that way you forget your drinking..for example, i drink in 700ml bottles and I have one as im getting ready in the morning, one in the car on the way to work, 2 during the work day and one in the car on the way home and wow 3.5 litres downed before even trying!
 
Divide how much water you want to drink in a day by 6. Get a container this size. Make sure you empty the container in between each meal.

For example, if you want to drink 3 litres a day, get a 500ml water bottle, and drink it beetween breakfast-morning snack, then another between morning-snack and lunch, etc, till your last one after supper.

If you drink any hot drinks/soft drinks, they are extraneous to the water.

Great Tip

Hey

Try putting a sprig of mint in a bottle of water. Don't muddle it.

The mint will infuse naturally without affecting the water.

At first i was scared to do this. So i checked with the clinic who said it was fine to do this as long as the mint was not muddled up!

It is especially refreshing if you serve it chilled and makes a great looking drink in a tall glass when you are entertaining!
