Tip on six packs(fat on belly but rib bones are showing when stretching)

Sounds like you have body fat on your lower abs rather then your upper abs. You may also have naturally ribs that jut outwards, many people do.

If your abs are working and you've been training them properly for a while, you are likely to have good ab muscles but they may be hidden below a layer of fat.

Unfortunetly, as you may well know, you cannot spot reduce fat. You reduce your weight, it comes off where it choses. Watch your diet- calorie intake rather then exactly what if your focused on weight loss but your stats look fine. You can be too skinny you know! Also watch who you compare yourself with: those guys who stand in magazines posing back at you, they will in the vast majority have been airbrushed and being that its their main job, are likely to have not eaten for several hours before a photoshoot or are paid to spend every other waking hour in the gym, have people to preplan their food and personal trainers to deal with their training, day in day out. Don't give yourself such a hard time for not looking as they do.

You don't say if you have spoken to a professional or not: the reason I ask is that I have a massive belly. Always being asked if I am expecting, being offered seats..etc and it seems to get worse by the month for about 3 years. Its still there today. I assumed it was fat, tried everything I could. At first with my minimal knowledge I tried sit ups, 20 min classes 3 sessions one day, 45 min class the next, hour long pilataes, core stability... every day of the week for about a year. No difference- although I did get better at the exercises! I then found out about abs not helping as its body fat...I took up cardio, an obsession I still have. 10 hours a week on average (can be up to 12) this 10 hours is logged on my heart rate monitor once my heart rate reaches 120bpm-180bpm and does not include stretching, warming up or cooling down. Its an obsession which has lasted 3 years and has had no impact on my stomach.

Its only in the last few months the penny has really dropped: its what you put into your body, the calories to be specific rather then any exercise you do. I have tried to cut down on my food intake but its very hard- my body doesn't want to lose its weight (whose does!) but as far as I can see this is the only way I will lose any body fat but one things for certain, it cannot be done by exercise nor by cardio.

You have to some exercise for it. I have mention some Exercise name

- Do crunches. 25 - 45 Per Day
- Do sit ups. 55 - 75 Per Day
- Do leg lifts. 5 - 20 Minutes
- Do static holds.

I think the rib part showing off is just okay considering that you only have fat on the belly. Do some crunches once a week because it helps in giving firm abs. You can do some research on diet reviews and other information regarding health so that it helps you choose on what diet plan to take to attain six pack abs.
