Well, I'll tell a little about myself. I once weighed a little bit over 220 when I was 16, I didn't like the way I looked and was very unhappy so I changed my lifestyle completely, ate healthy and I ran everyday I could, about a year or two later I weighed 140, I was very happy and I stopped there (mainly because family thought I was way too thin, I'm 6 feet tall but I wasnt THAT skinny at all) Anyway, time goes on, I'm about 18 1/2 now and all of a sudden I see junk food and I gorge it down, I've been trying to kick it back into gear and eat healthy again and excercise regularly, I've tried to run in the morning, I set my alarm for when I need to go but I just don't bother getting out of bed, I've seemed to have lost my motivation. This week has been the worse, bad food after bad food, telling myself the next day I'll stop and I don't. I don't want to see myself fat but I just keep eating, I'm finding it hard to stop, so I've decided to start this diary and really try even harder to get my **** straight, I weigh about 145 now (5 pounds gained in almost a year, but it's recent) and I really don't want to gain anymore, but today it happened again so who knows...I find myself with nothing to do and eat.
I know, 6 feet tall and 145 is probably too thin for some. I just want to lose about 5 pounds and become more lean, of course I got no clue what to do, well I do kind of, I read these forums everyday, have everyday since September of last year. I'm going to cut my current calories down a bit, run every morning before school and during the afternoon I'm going to do whatever indoor excercises I can (it's really hot down here) only weights I have are for my curl bar, so I'll try to do what I can, I also have a bench thing to do crunches and what not. So yes, my goals.
~Goals~
Lose 5 pounds of fat that I've gained
Become more lean
Increase my strength a bit
Be able to get out of bed and run every morning
Eat 5-6 healthy meals everyday
I wan't to be able to jog or run a good 3 miles without needing to stop
The way I see it, if I have to type my progress and my failures in this diary thing that people can read, it'll help me keep myself on track.
I'm thinking 3-5 days of cardio in the morning, 3 days of weights (whatever I can do with what I have). I was thinking of increasing cardio some days, like run in the morning and then run at night as well. I should also get a better sleeping habit for I can get more sleep in and be able to wake up earlier to run. I'd post pictures but I have no camera to do so, but I'll ask my cousins to help me out, get some pictures of me now and then I'll show my progress over time. I should find out what my bf% is, no clue how to figure it out though.
Today, food wise it was bad....But I'm still going to put some cardio in tonight so it's not a COMPLETE failure, and tomorrow starts day 1 of getting things back together, I'll write in here everyday before bed. Hopefully I can do it and maybe get some help from you guys along the way.
Tomorrows eating will be something like this
Meal 1 @ 7:00 AM (Home)
2x Packets of Regular Oatmeal
1x Cup of 2% Milk
Meal 2 @ 10:00 AM (School)
2x Cups of Fat Free Milk
1x Apple
Meal 3 @ 1:30 PM (Home again)
2x Bannana (I Make a smoothie)
1x Cup of 2% Milk
Meal 4 @ 4:30 PM
3x Eggs (Hard boiled, 1 whole)
2x Whole Wheat Bread
Meal 5 @ 8:00 PM
2x Grilled Chicken Breasts
That's about 1750 Calories, go ahead and tell me if somethings wrong, if I should add something, remove something, or eat more. I suck at meal planning
