I was just wondering if it makes any difference what time you take your creatine? I take it in tablet form, 1000mg per tablet and take 3 on a day I work out. I weigh approx 156lbs so I calculate about 3g a day should be enough for somebody me weight and size.
My question is would it make any difference whether I took creatine before and after I work out? I am lifting tomorrow at about 9 or 10 am and was wondering does it help in any way to take one of my 1000mg tablets some time before working out and then another right after working out?
Of course it could and probably does not make much difference I would imagine?
I also lower my dose on days I do not lift, I will only take 0 - 2 on non-lifting days just to try and give my body a bit of a rest.
I am only taking creatine for about 1 month more and then I think I am going to stop for a while and see if I notice any difference, if not or not much then I will stay off it I think.
