Time for a restart!

Hello! I am a re-beginner at working out/eating healthy/ living a healthy lifestyle. I had gotten down to my goal weight about a year ago, and then stopped working out and making healthy eating choices. Therefore I have regained all of the weight that I originally lost. So now I am starting over; with the goals to 1.) Lose the weight that I want and 2.) To maintain the healthy choices after I hit my goal. The main thing that I am looking for out of this forum is somewhere I can get frustrated about my workout routine, my diet, the lack of time in the day to properly do either, and perhaps some motivation to get through this so that I can get back to healthy me. Looking forward to this new journey, Cheers!

Hi smith4ar! Welcome to the forum! Your story sounds very familiar - I think you've come to the right place ;) Best of luck with your goals!

It can be so hard starting over again but it will be so worth it when you start feeling better, stronger and happier. Good luck!!

My best motivation is imagining myself looking and feeling good being fit. Whenever I feel lazy, I just remind myself that it's always not easy the first time and I just need to get used to it. So, I don't skip a day without doing any workout, may it be just a 20 or 30 minutes short time exercise or an hour or two doing cardio-circuit-yoga. Because if I skip one day or get a cheat meal, I will be addicted to it. And I will have to start all over again. So, I have to be strict with myself. :) really, it's not easy but I have to. I always just convince myself that it's just a matter of getting used to. Good luck!

Welcome aboard!
