hello everyone, i have been wanting to loose weight for a while and have started to get serous about it. i have lost weight in the past and then fallen off the wagon man times. right now i am 308#'s and working on loosing weight. i have gotten a fit bit and have started logging my calories. i have been doing this for about a month now and i havent lost a single thing, infact i have been gaining weight a bit and loosing it off and on but not making any headway. i have been consuming no more then 1550 cals a day and have been trying to hit the gym 3 times a week at least. i am starting to get frustrated and starting to loose hope. in the past it has been somewhat easy for me to loose a little weight here and there, but this time it is extreamly hard. any ideas or tips or anything? thanks for reading and i wish everyone a happy holidays and good luck.

I fall off the wagon all the time!!! And it's just so hard to get started back :( You sound like you're doing it all the right way...just stay true to yourself and surround yourself with the emotional support you need.

I can sense the frustration,
what type of calories are you consuming? what type of job do you have?
what type of exercise are you doing and how long are your sessions?

i am consuming 1550 cals a day and i work in an office. a lot of sitting, but i have been getting up and walking around my office a lot lately. when i get to the gym i usually do the elliptical or the bike. i need to start lifting again.

Increase calories to 2000, spread out over 6 meals a day. Avoid processed food at all costs and imcorporate interval training into your exercise routine. Also drink lots of water :) stay off the scales for a couple of weeks start to see if you feel better :) good luck

Oh it can be hard... Especially now during the holidays, good that they are over now. We had our last party at a relative's house yesterday... Ice cream, chocolate... Today I for some reason felt like going to to store to buy chocolate even though I have not done that for the past year.
I stopped buying anything that contains sugar a long time ago, and have felt really good as a result of it, but it did take some time to get used to that. I still kept the freedom to eat things like that in social situations, at parties etc. i never was hooked on fast food, thank G. The last hamburger I ate was probably fifteen years ago. Wishing you the best of luck... If you need any help, let me know.
