Weighted Gloves are awesome to increase intensity!
Weighted gloves are totally fine. I have been using 1-1.5kg hand weights with all my cardio workouts for years and I have no problems with my hands or wrists. I love using the weights cause it adds extra intensity, especially to boxing style workouts. Like with any new exercise equipment you will need to build up your strength in the muscles being used, but I guarantee you will never look back. In fact you will likely keep upping the weight as you get fitter. I also used ankle weights to increase intensity for my cardio workouts.
